Growing up in church together from a young age we grew to be fast friends. As we got older, I realized that I had a crush on Cruz, but everyone wanted to be with him because of how funny, cute, charming, and outgoing he was. Fast forward to college years we tried to make things work between us but the timing wasn't right and we lost touch for awhile until we reconnected at my brother's wedding in 2021. We started off as just friends again as I was not looking for another relationship at the time despite multiple family and friends telling me we would be back together and I told them that they were crazy. As time went on and we continued to hangout more, all of my old feelings started to come back and I thought what the hell let's give it a shot and here we are today. It has definitely been a long journey getting to where we are today with a lot of ups and downs but what story doesn't. If my old self could see us today, she would be so incredibly happy and excited knowing we finally got the guy.
